Google Launches AI Tool to Assist SMBs in Creating Brand Promotions
Google has announced a new AI project to assist SMBs in creating more visually appealing, successful brand promotions. The system can scan your URL to determine your important branding features, which are then built into a variety of creative assets and advertising for your consideration.
The new platform, called “Pomelli,” is the newest Google Labs AI experiment, offering yet another option to use AI to supplement your online marketing efforts.
As described by Google: Enter your website, and Pomelli will analyse it to generate a ‘Business DNA’ profile for your brand. Pomelli analyses your website and existing photos to automatically extract and comprehend your company’s distinct brand identity.
You may also include a one-line description of your brand and any catchphrases you may employ, which will be integrated into your business DNA profile to produce more aligned, successful brand advertising.
Once your Business DNA is identified, Pomelli provides tailored campaign ideas for your company. This tool addresses the typical challenge of coming up with new, strategic ideas, allowing you to swiftly select a campaign emphasis. If you have your own idea, you can use a prompt to generate content that is specifically tailored to your vision.
Pomelli may also generate platform-specific promos based on specified parameters, which you can then utilise to promote across several apps and places. It could be a useful addition to your social media marketing efforts, delivering slick-looking, AI-generated creative materials through a simple point-and-click interface. However, depending on the circumstances of your marketing, you should proceed with caution when using AI generation. Recent study has indicated that some consumers are put off by the artificiality of AI generations, while concerns about the environmental impact of AI have prompted some major firms to abandon the technology entirely.
But, ultimately, it boils down to how you use the technology. AI tools are not intended to replace human understanding (at least not at this level), but rather to augment your existing strategy.
In this regard, Pomelli could be a useful tool, utilising the best aspects of generative AI to simplify the ad development process. Pomelli will be available in English as a public beta experiment in the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand beginning today.
